Treatment For Multi-Camera Music Magazine Show

Programme Format
The length of this magazine show will range from 28-30 minutes of footage provided to the viewers. The genre of the show is a music chat magazine show, it will contain interviews, music videos and guests on the show. The live content shown will contain things that have occurred throughout the week and top song.

Title of the show
The title of my magazine show would be called Cosmic Tunes and I chose the word cosmic meaning distinct from anything else and the word tunes as the show is music related. Below is the logo that I created to represent my show that was created in fireworks.

I would be using one these form of font to represent my show.
Double•Bubble Shadow Regular
Rundkursiv Regular
Fine Blackboard Regular

These colours would be used in my magazine show to represent the theme being exciting as they are not dull however the colours will go together to match the logo, theme and title of the music video.

Content Ideas
In my magazine show it will contain a quiz/fire round consisting of questions such as what was Beyonce's latest song, do you prefer android or I-phone just  to keep the audience engaged as fun factor to the show.  The interview in the show will be held by the presenters along side to people who will share their views on the music videos viewed during the show before day release and the quiz and views on the competition between all the music videos. There will be a time slot where a few people viewing the programme can call in or place the questions in through twitter via hasting #cosmictunes/followed by their name and age so that there will be audience interaction alongside the show but communicated through a social network such as twitter.

Running order
  • Introduction to the show along with 15 seconds of footage from all the music videos created by the class then an introduction to the show and what the show will consist of and this will be during the first 5 minutes of the show.
  • The guest will then be invited onto the show and they will have a quick fire round of questions to answer within a minute then a general discussion on music videos and who their favourite artist is and why for the second 5 minutes.
  • The next 12 minutes  of the show will consist of 2 music videos and then the guests opinions on that and do a small outro before for the break till they are back.,
  • 2 minutes of adverts whilst the show goes on a break.
  • intro back to the show after the break then the next 8 minutes will be another music video and the guest viewers on that.
  • The next 13 minutes will be a q&a from the audience or viewers and this contacts the show via twitter.
  • The last 2 minutes will be an outro and the guest leaving the show and small clips from the music video at which the guests though was the best.

Studio design
These are the two studio designs I have come up with and will be planning to use the most effective one as they both have an establishing shot to capture backdrop, guests and presenter that are on the show along with the quiz board.

Sketch of background
This the sketch background that I created in fireworks. This was created to suit the overall design of my idea for the show to make sure that all areas of the show is caught by the camera.

Visual Style
I want there to be graphics and the begging with the name of the show and the logo and to ensure that it is appealing to the viewers. I want the camera angles to be neutral however there can be close ups every now and then to capture the guest and presenters reactions and facial expressions in order to keep the viewers entertained.

Presentation Style
I want the presenters to be informal to keep a good vibe throughout however i want them to maintain the focus on entertaining the audience as if the show was formal not many people would watch it as there wouldn't really be many jokes or laughs to engage the viewers. I'd like the audience to view this magazine show as an entertainment programme.
