Production Log Week 4

The duties that i did this week for my role consisted of me sorting out all the music and ensuring that is all on the computer that is connected to the sound mixing desk to play the tracks from.
This week has been successful as he VT operator and I managednto sort out all the runs downs and extra pre recorded footage that was missing ensuring that it was all on a ma and edited to the best of our ability.
During this week i could have changed my attendance as missed a lesson that then lead to me falling behind in the work so i need to develop and improve my attendance as it will improve my contribution towards the class.
I worked well with my team mates as we worked well to complete the given Tasks, on the live day i believe my performance went well as i kept up to speed with he production and the directors ques however i could have been more careful with the sounds levels as at parts some of the sound was crackling and it kind of ruined parts of the production as it wouldn't of sounded appealing to rhw audience.

This week the duties that I performed regarding my role was sorting out the songs that will be played during the run down and editing footage for the first 30 seconds of footage as the opening run down, I edited this on the mac using final cut express. I changed the order of the animations in the run down at the beginning to make it look more effective. 

This week has been a success due to the fact Jack and I managed to get all the extra footage that was needed to put into pre-recorded parts of the show that were needed in order to complete the show highlights and the run down in time for production on Thursday 

Next week I intend to add my section on sound to the final script and finishing off editing the 30 second beginning run down however the only parts I need are Omar's history of hip hop and the interviews of people on their views on the music videos and I also intend to ready myself for the live day on the following Thursday. Also by Monday I intend to have finished the final product of the beginning run down for the show with the pre-recorded footage.

This week I worked with Jack the VT operator on capturing excess footage for the highlights, run down and other parts that well be in the show along side the run down.

Treatments For Pre-recorded Features

What is the feature about?	How will it be put together?	Who will be required for it from in and outside the team?	Where will it be filmed?	When will it be filmed and edited?
Dance Competition – A competition for the audience that they send in that will be shown on the show	This will be filmed with people from our school so we don’t have to ask random people outside of school, and then we will record them in the dance competition	We will need Kimberly and then we will need Jordan Fakile in order to perform a dance competition, as they are both outside the team this will be easy to record as we can do it during school times	This will be filmed outside of school on the streets near school so therefore we don’t have to travel far and waste time on recording them dancing	This will be filmed on the  of June as we are behind on time
Interview on the streets In the interview – the guests will be (Ross)and (Lauren) the interviewer will be Connor	This will be filmed around school outside so it looks more realistic  as we will be using people we know but they will pretend to be random people off the street	For the interviews I will need (Ross) and (Lauren) as they will be acting as random people who will be asked questions about the music video	This will be shot outside of school just outside on the streets in different locations	This will be filmed during this week when everyone is free 6-7 of June
History of Hip-Hop – Omar will talk about the most popular songs of hip-hop in history where he will tell the audience about it Omars 5 fav hip hop videos ever  ( get clips ) couple of sentences on each videos.	Omar will be sat down talking to the camera about the history of hip-hop most likely in front of a green screen where we can add things to the background	For this we will need Omar as he is the one who knows everything about hip-hop and he loves it so he will have more passion for it	This will be filmed somewhere in the music department as the subject has got something to do with music so it would make sense	This will have to be filmed this week as time is short so 3-5 of June

These were the songs that were chosen to be played throughout certain parts of the production such as Chris Brown loyal will be used as the instrumental in the beginning run down throughout the whole run down. The song Wiz Khalifa See you again will be played in the background during the first game and the final song Taylor Swift bad Blood will be played during the second game and as the guests come onto the show. The song Chris Brown Loyal will be played again during the outro of the production and in the outro run down.
